We had a lot of great feedback when we posted Apogee’s How To Record Drums with Two Microphones instructional video. Recently we’ve discovered that they have more of these videos so we’d thought we’d share more of them.
In this video you can learn a great technique for recording vocals and acoustic guitar simultaneously. With careful attention to placement in order to isolate each sound source, engineer Bob Clearmountain uses a Neumann KM84 close to the acoustic guitar and a Neumann U87 for the vocals – both plugged into an Apogee Duet audio interface.
