Ivan Mulia of Indonesia loves blues music and the resonator guitar, especially the metal-body versions which are hard to find in his country. In 2009 he started iVee Guitars using aluminum casting to produce unique guitars.
One of the iVee’s signatures is floral etching on the whole body of the guitar which generally use Indonesia tradition such as ‘batik’ and ‘songket’. Technical calculations blended with artistic culture is a hallmark of his work.
