This is related to my post regarding A.I.R. Music Technology’s introduction of Ignite. It also ties in with my series of iPad Music Creation. M-Audio introduced the Axiom A.I.R. Series at Summer NAMM with a full line of advanced MIDI keyboard controllers, which includes the Axiom A.I.R. 61, Axiom A.I.R. 49, Axiom A.I.R. 25 and the Axiom A.I.R. Mini 32. As a portable midi controller, the M-Audio Axiom AIR Mini 32 Keyboard seems to have a lot of features. Originally I was looking into the M-Audio Keystation Mini 32 but with the recent introduction of the new M-Audio Axiom AIR and it being packaged with Ignite, I think I’ll wait until this comes out.
From M-Audio:
The Axiom A.I.R. series represents the latest evolution of best-in-class keyboard controllers from M-Audio. Featuring exclusive HyperControl™ automatic control mapping technology and groundbreaking Ignite music creation software, Axiom A.I.R. controllers provide an instant, fully immersive music creation experience. Everything, from their ultra-responsive keys and pads to their multi-color buttons and long-throw faders, has been crafted to provide an unobstructed evolution of musical ideas, from conception to expression.

Just got a chance to try this Mini bad boy the other day, I love it!
It totally keeps up with the best of them, and I prefer the feeling of the keys and pads to that of the new launchkey mini. They have a sturdier, more solid feel.
The AIR series is a serious step up for M-Audio. Kudos!
